It all started young for me. I would tell stories and sometimes cheat by not letting the full truth get in the way. I would love to see people reactions and would “Say that’s not true, but I love to tell that story”.
To keep this going I graduated from the Central Film School in London and focused on telling stories that got people talking like Emilia. A film I directed with a lot of political controversy and we all know how that goes.
I continued on it by way of documentaries and experimental films. This eventually garnered some attention and I started working with brands like Volvic, British Airways, which allowed me to delve deeper.
As a filmmaker my creative approach is very much based around keeping the balance between reality and fiction, after all too much fantasy and credibility gets lost but an excess of reality can make things boring. It’s about keep the audience there with you. Arrested through composition, tension and doubt. Ultimately, it’s about creating memorable images.
